Current amplification factor:

• The ratio of change in emitter current (ΔIE) to the change in base current (ΔIB) is recognized as Current Amplification factor in common collector (CC) configuration. It is symbolized by γ.

• The current gain in CC configuration is identical as in CE configuration. The voltage gain in CC configuration is constantly less than 1.

• The current amplification factor of a transistor is the ratio of yield current to the input current.

Hope it helped.....
