=> Density

Density is the mass of an object divided by its volume. Density often has units of grams per cubic centimeter (g/cm3). Remember, grams is a mass and cubic centimeters is a volume (the same volume as 1 milliliter).

=> Relative Density

The relative density is defined as the ratio of the substance to the ratio of the reference substance. The unit on both numerator and denominator are the same. So relative density is a unitless property.

We are given the relative density  as 19.5

We know that ,

Relative density = Density of substance ÷ Density of  water

Density of  water = 1000 kg/m³

Density of substance = Density of  water × Relative density

                                 = 19.5 × 1000

                                 = 19500 kg/m³

The SI Unit of density is kg/m³.

1 kg/m³ = 0.001 g/cm³

19500 kg/m³ = 19.5 g /cm³
