The two different meristems present is a plant body are as follows-
1)Apical Meristematicwhich is responsible for the increase in length of a plant and is present at the root and shoot tips.
2)Lateral Meristematic is responsible for the increase of thickness of a plant and is found on the lateral sides of the root and stem.
