Animals with 2 germ layers are called as diploblastic while animals with 3 germ layers are called as triploblastic.

Germ layers are used during the classification of animals in the animal kingdom.

Diploblastic organisation includes animals from coelentrata & ctenophora. While, triploblastic organisation includes animals from platyhelminthes to chordata.

Hope it helps! ;-))
