There are various forms of discrimination such as on the basis of Age , Disability , Equal Pay/Compensation , Genetic Information , Harassment , National, Origin , Pregnancy , Race/Color , Religion , Retaliation , Sex , Sexual Harassment.

'Discrimination' in relation to a corporate environment is known as employment discrimination. These above mentioned all reasons are included. Any unjust or prejudicial treatment of different segments and or categories of people, especially on any of these grounds at workplace, and or on job or off job training, in any corporate sector is discrimination' in relation to a corporate environment.

Discrimination is where the employee may feel the compensation he gets back from the employer is not worth as compared to the services offered. The employes attitude about working may change and this may lead to decreased input from him. Trade Unions are there to defend the rights of the employees who feel discriminated and whose services are under paid.
