Define dispersion with help of a diagram. Illustrate how dispersed light can
be recombined to produce white light.

The seven different colours can be recombined in the following way to give white light : A triangular prism is placed on its base and another similar prism is placed along its side in inverted position on its vertex. so that the refracting surface is in the opposite direction.
