Answer:

Displacement reaction is a chemical reaction in which a more reactive element displaces a less reactive element from its compound. Both metals and non-metals take part in displacement reactions.

Example : Reaction of iron nails with copper sulphate solution.

{Answer}

displacement reaction is a reaction in which highly reactive metal displaces the less reactive metal .............

1) Fe + CuSO4------------> FeSO4 + Cu

2) Zn + CuSO4 ------------> not possible

3) Ag + ZnSO4---------------> not possible

this is becoz Fe is reactive so it can displace Cu from CuSO4 whereas Zn and Ag r less reactive then Cu and Zn and Ag..............

HOPE THIS helps u
