Distance is The amount of space between two points, usually geographical points, usually (but not necessarily) measured along a straight line. Whereas displacement is vector quantity which denotes distance with a directional component.

Distance:-Total path length covered by an object.

Displacement:-The change of position in a particular direction or the distance between the initial and final position of the object is called displacement.
