1)Doab - this is a term especially used in India. It can have the same meaning as an interfluve. It refers to a piece of land that lies in between two converging rivers.
2)Distributaries - These are branches of a river that form out of it and do not rejoin the river at any point of the river's course.
3)Barchans - These are sand dunes formed in sandy deserts that have a crescent shape. They are formed by the action of winds acting on them forming a concave shape on the leeward side.
