plasma constitutes 55 percent of blood.

it contains proteins such as albumin,globulin,thrombikinaseand prothrombin.

it is straw coloured.

RBC,WBC,platelets are formed elements they constitute about 45 percent of blood.

RBC

it is also called erythrocytes.

it is about 5,00,000 it is most abundant.

it is biconcave and enucleated.

WBC

it is also called leucocytes and policeman as it protects from foreign particles entering our body.

it is nucleated.

it is divided into granulocytes and agranulocytes.

Platelets

it is extracted from extracts of megathrombocytes.

it helps in blood clotting.

it contains clotting factors deficiency in this causes diseases.
