living organisms can never live in isolation.they live in a particular natural environment where they interact with certain living organisms and maintain a delicate balance to suit their life cycle.this kind of a balanced and life supporting environment is called an ecosystem.
the chain of supply of food from the basic producer to the consumer is called the food chain.
eg: sun----->trees and grasses----->deer and other consumers----->tiger.
