El -nino is a warm ocean current which sometimes appears of the coast of Peru in south america during rhe month of december. It increses the surface temperature of the sea and affects the movement of monsoon winds in the indian ocean and causes weak drought-like situation in the Indian sub-continent.

El nino is a periodic flow of warm Pacific equatorial waters southwards,usually around Christmas time.
