The electoral roll which is also termed an electoral register, voters roll is a listing of persons who are qualified to vote in a distinct electoral division and who are enrolled to vote, if needed in a special field. An electoral roll has a lot of purposes, primarily to streamline polling on the day of Election. Voter enrollment is also applied to fight electoral fraud by allowing officials to establish an applicant's identification and entitlement to a vote, and to guarantee a person doesn't vote several times.
