The path along which the electron flows theough conductor to reach the device from the battery or cell is known as an Electric circuit .

Current in a circuit :-

A Steady flow of electric current in a conductor is maintained in a similar way. The positive charge flows spontaneously in conductor from high potential to lower potential beach in the direction of electric field . To maintain study current through the conductor some external device must do work at a steady rate to take positive charge from low potential B to high potential A. Such device is called electromotive force . The source of EMF transfer positive charge from lower potential to higher potential i.e., in the opposite direction of the electric field earlier charge sloka circuit in analogous to the water flow circuit .
