Electric power is the rate, per unit time, at which electrical energy is transferred by an electric circuit. The SI unit of power is the watt, one joule per Elevtric power is usually produced by electric generators, but can also be supplied by sources such as electric batteries.......
Relation between Power , Pd and Resistance is.. P = V^2 / R ......
where ,
p = power
V = Pd
R = resistance ...
hope it helps you..

Answer: Electric power is the rate at which work is done or energy is transformed in an electrical circuit.
Expression
Let the power=work done/time taken
We know that the work done by current l when it flows for time t under potential difference v is given by:
W=V×T×I joules
So
Power=V×T×I joules per second
Power,P=V×I joules per second or watt
Relationship
Electric power is measured in watts
1watt=1joule/1sec
Current and resistance are related by following relation:
V=IR
R is the resistance in the circuit..
