Answer:

Electromagnetic Induction :- the phenomena of producing induced emf and hence induced current in a close ckt due to change in magnetic flux linked with the coil/close ckt is known as electromagnetic induction.

Examples :-

I) relative motion between magnet and a conducting coil induces electromagnetic flux in the coil.

ii) relative motion between a current carrying coil and a conducting coil induces electromagnetic flux in the conducting coil.

iii) changing current in a current carrying coil induces emf in a nearby coil without relative motion between coil.
