Define electromagnetic induction. State

the strength of induced current depends
Answers
Answer:
The strength of induced current depends on the strength of the magnetic field, the velocity at which the coil or the magnet is being moved and the length of the conductor which is perpendicular to the direction of the motion and finally the resistance of the conductor.
Explanation:
due to relative motion of a permanent magnet, a current is induced in the respective conductor .This is called as electromagnetic induction. It was first discovered by Micheal faraday.
factors affectinf strength of induced current :
(1) permanent magnet used.
(2) turns of conductor coil.
(3) fast relative motion of magnet. ( frequency of changing magnetic field)
(4) maximum current is induced only when motion of magnet is perpendicular to the conductor.
