Explanation:

Hey.

Here is the answer.

Electrostatic Force :

Electro : Electronic or electric charge

Static : stationary or slow moving

Force : Push or Pull

So, As the name states ELECTRO + STATIC + FORCE means a force experienced by any body or particle due to some static or very slow electric charge .

When two charges are separated by some distance then they experience some force of attraction or repulsion due to nature of there charge along the line joining there centres and this force is called electrostatic force.

It is given by Coulomb's Law :

f \: \: = \: k \times \frac{q1 \times q2}{ {r}^{2} } \\

Where f is F electrostatic

k is the dielectric constant between the charges

q1 is the charge on first body

q2 is the charge on other body

r is the distance between the charges

SI unit : Newton (N)

Also when some objects are rubbed against each other they experience some force due to loss and gain of charges and this is called electrostatic force.

eg. - Comb and dry hair
