What is species?

It is a basic unit of classification, it can be explained as the group of living organisms which are simlar in structure, function and behaviour and are produced by similar parents, also they have common gene pool, even common can inter breed under natural conditions and reproductively are isolated from other group.

What is Endemic Species?

It is also known as endoemism. A species which is tound only in a particular area is known as endemic species. e.g. Metasequoia is found only in valley of China, Kangaroo in Australia.
