Endocrine - the glands which directly secret their products in blood stream. they are ductless glands.
Examples - pineal gland, pituitary gland, pancreas, ovaries, testes, thyroid gland, parathyroid gland, hypothalamus and adrenal glands.
Exocrine - the glands which secret their products by the duct. they are ducting glands.
Examples - sweat, salivary, mammary, ceruminous, lacrimal, sebaceous, and mucous.

Define endocrine and exocrine gland
EXOCRINE GLANDS
- They are structure that release their products through ducts or channels.
- Examples: Sweat gland, Salivary gland etc.
ENDOCRINE GLANDS
- They are bag like structure that release certain chemical messengers known as HORMONES directly to blood stream to cause a response in a specific organ or group of cells.
- They are released in trace amounts.
- They DO NOT have ducts/channels therefore they are known as ductless glands.
- Examples: Adrenal gland, pituitary gland etc.
