When is charged capacitor is allowed to discharge for ideal inductor, the charge oscillates periodically and hence LC oscillations are produced. When those oscillations are produced then a conversion of electrical energy into magnetic energy and vice versa takes place and then charge resting on the capacitor at any instant of time.

I = \frac{dq}{dt} = - q \: w \: sinwt

Initial energy in the LC oscillator is equal to the final energy . So , it shows that there is the conservation of energy in ideal LC oscillator.

It can also be proved mathematically.
