ENTROPY :-rendom distribution of energy or disordered distribution of energy.

according to 2nd law of thermodynanics

delta s universe = delta s system + delta s surrounding > 0

** SPONTANEITY OF SYSTEM

(1) DELTA S > 0 .. SPONTANEOUS PROCESS


(2) DELTA S TOTAL = 0 ..EQUILIBRIUM


(3) DELTA S TOTAL < 0... NON-SPONTANEOUS PROCESS.
