evaporation is a slow process whereas vaporisation is a fast process. evaporation is natural process and vaporisation is not natural.

Vaporization, conversion of a substance from the liquid or solid phase into the gaseous (vapour) phase.

If conditions allow the formation of vapour bubbles within a liquid, the vaporization process is called boiling. Direct conversion from solid to vapour is called sublimation.

The interconversion of matter from liquid to gaseous state is called vaporization.

Example- Water changes into steam on application of heat.
