Evaporation is a phase transition from the liquid phase to vapor (a state of substance below critical temperature and critical pressure) that occurs at temperatures below the boilingtemperature at a given pressure.Evaporation usually occurs on the surface.

evaporation is the process by which a liquid turns into a gas. evaporation is a slow phenomenon as it takes place above 0°C whereas boiling is a bulky phenomenon as it takes place at 100°C
