Excretion is a process in which metabolic waste is eliminated from an organism. In vertebrates this is primarily carried out by the lungs, kidneys, and skin. Answer:

Excretion is defined as a process to eliminate the nitrogenous wastes (in general all waste materials) which produced as a result of metabolic processes. Some examples of waste products are NH3, CO2, etc. In animals, CO2 is excreted through lungs, and NH3 with some other are excreted directly or in the form of urea or uric acid. There are different structure developed for it in whole animalia kingdom, like Kidney, Malphigian tubules, etc.
