executive is the branch of the government which deals with the execution of laws made by the government.

in India executive broadly classified into two different types political executive and permanent executive.

Political executive are choosed by the citizens of India. the usually have more power in their hand but oftenly don't have more knowledge about their Ministries this usually happens in Ministries and the Finance ministry health ministry the Education ministry the Foreign ministry etc. They are employed on short termed basis and have to resign when the government changes.

The permanent executive or civil servants which work in the departments they usually have more knowledge but less power in their hand they are employed on long term basis and stay in the office even if the government changes.

Political executive usually have more power in their hands because in a democratic country like India the will of the people matters the most.
