Heya!!!

__________________________________________

¤ External fertilisation :

• It is a kind of fertilisation in which the male gamete fuses with the female gamete outside the body of the organism..

• It Mainly occurs by the release of both eggs and sperm into the external media (such as water).

• Mainly occurs in organisms such as frogs ,fishes etc.

¤ Disadvantages :

• Since the sperm and eggs are released out of the body so the chances of fusion are less.

• There may be a chance that predators might eat their eggs and also the zygote that is formed.

• To prevent the losses stated above they release hundreds of egg at a time... So that the chances of fusion increases.
