The rate of transpiration is affected by the following factors—
— Temperature of air increases the rate of transpiration.
— Humidity decreases the rate of transpiration.
— Wind speed increases the rate of transpiration.
— Light causes stomata to open and increases transpiration since stomata remains open during the day and close during the night there is more transpiration in morning time then at night .
