The first law of reflection states that the angle of incidence made by the beam of light with the surface is equal to the angle of reflection made by the beam of light going outwards with the surface .

Laws of reflection:-

1st law:-The incident ray, the reflected ray,and the normal at the point of incidence lie on the same plane.

2nd law:- The angle of incidence is equal to the angle of reflection.
