Flood is a natural disaster which is occurred due to the overflowing of river,stream etc. Flood occurs when a waterbody burt's it's bank and the water spills onto the plain. It can also be caused by heavy rains. It causes many adverse effects.
1) the force of water causes destruction of constructions.
2)the stagnant water causes the mosquitoes to breed and which cause outbreak of diseases
