These are the postulates of congruency under which, if two triangles have the below as congruent then the two triangles are congruent.
(1) S-A-S test stands for Side Angle Side according to which if two sides and angle of one triangle is congruent to that of the other than the two triangles are congruent to each other.
Similarly, (2) S-S-S test stands for Side Side Side and (3) A-S-A test stands for Angle Side Angle and (4) A-A-S test stands for Angle Angle Side and (5) Hypotenuse - side test means we can say that two triangles are congruent if the hypotenuse and any one side of the triangle are respectively congruent to that of the other triangle.
