Food cooperation of India (FCI) These are the cooperation which are runs by government . In this they produce food grains from the farmer's. They are maintain sufficient buffer stock in the country and price stabilisation . FCI purchases food grains mainly from surplus states such as Punjab, Haryana and supplies them to deficit states.
