It is a system in which different food chains are inter-connected to each other is called food web. Food web is also called consumer-resource system. It shows us that which organism is the food of other organism. Food web provides ecological balance in the ecosystem. For example plants are eaten by cows, goat, deer, rabbit etc these organisms are the food of lions, tiger, cheetah etc. Rabbit is also the food of eagle etc.
