Define force

\huge\underbrace\mathcal\green{Answer}

Force can be defined as a push or pull applied on an object resulted from an interaction (not necessary) between two objects.

There are 2 types of forces :

\huge\underline\mathtt\orange{Contact}

Contact forces are those forces which comes into effect when two object are in contact with each other.

Examples of contact force:

  • Muscular force
  • Frictional force, etc.

\huge\underline\mathtt\blue{Non-contact}

Non-contact forces are those where contact between two objects is not necessary.

Examples of non-contact force:

  • Gravitational force
  • Magnetic force
  • Electrostatic force, etc.

Answer:

Force :-

In physics, a force is any interaction that, when unopposed, will change the motion of an object. A force can cause an object with mass to change its velocity, i.e., to accelerate. Force can also be described intuitively as a push or a pull. A force has both magnitude and direction, making it a vector quantity.
