Force is defined as the rate of change of linear momentum ie,

F = Δp/Δt = Change in momentum/Change in time

Its SI unit is newton and

    CGS unit is dyne

Force can also be defined as mass times acceleration

1 Newton force is applied when 1kg of mass is accelerated by 1m/s²

Hope this is helpful to you
