Force is defined as a push or pull which can make an object change it's direction, deform or move from rest to motion or vice - versa.

Examples of force:-

Contact:-

  1. Frictional force
  2. Muscular force
  3. Elastic force

Non - contact:- (action-at-a-distant-force)

  1. Gravitational force
  2. Nuclear force
  3. Magnetic force
  4. Electrostatic force.

More about force:-

  1. Force is also defined as the "rate of change of momentum" or "product of mass and acceleration".
  2. It is given by,  F = ma.
