Friction is a force which slows down the movement of objects sliding over each other or rubbing against each other.
->Friction acts against or resist movement.
-> Two rough surfaces cause more friction than two smooth surfaces.
-> Friction occurs because there is no surface which is perfectly smooth.
-> The soles of the shoe, three of cycles and motors have a pattern if grooves which allows the water to escape from the shoes and wheels.
-> We cannot walk with slippers on very smooth and wet surfaces due to very less friction.
