Answer:

Friction is the resistance to motion of one object moving relative to another. It is not a fundamental force, like gravity or electromagnetism. Instead, scientists believe it is the result of the electromagnetic attraction between charged particles in two touching surfaces.

Answer:

FRICTION-: Friction can be defined as the force which opposes the motion of any body and makes it stop after some time.

SOME CAUSES OF FRICTION ARE:-

1. CAR STOPS AFTER SOME TIME BECAUSE THE FRICTION BETWEEN CAR AND ROAD OPPOSES THE MOTION.

2. WE ARE ABLE TO MOVE ONLY WITH THE HELP OF FRICTION.

3. WHEN WE THROW A BALL ON THE GROUND, IT STOPS AFTER SOME TIME DUE TO FRICTION.
