we need government so that it can govern our country and We need government to organize ourselves. Humans by nature follow leaders and from groups with structures. If we did not have a traditional government like the ones in the world today then we would just form another type of group. For example if the US government (my government) did not exist then the church, corporations, or just the strongest person would enforce a hierarchy of their own design.
Also, government creates laws that allow people to work and seek justice within the system.
