Gravitational field intensity :- gravitational field is the space around as material body in which its gravitational pull can be experienced by other .
and the gravitational field intensity or strength at any point in a gravitational field is equal to force experienced by unit mass placed at that point .
i.e I =F/m
where I is the gravitational field intensity and m is mass of body placed at a point .

Gravitational potential :- at a point it is defined as negative of the workdone by a gravitational force per unit mass in bringing a unit test mass from some reference point to the given point.
e.g V= - W/m .

both are related with each other.
I = -dV/dr

Gravitational field intensity is strength of gravitational field at any particular point (field is area where force of attraction is felt by a body) gravitational potential is potential of gravitational force to do work on an object which is given by mgh m=mas g=gravity & h=height at which an object is
