The word green house comes from the house which was used early in cold countries for seed germination as in cold countries the amount of sunlight is not enough for seed germination.
Green house effect is the entering of solar radiation to pass in but prevent long wave heat radiation to pass out due to presence of solar gases. These gases allow the solar radiation to pass through but reflect back the long wave radiations back to earth , are called green house effect.
Carbon dioxide , chroro - floro carbon and nitrogen oxide are green house gases which are mostly produced by industries ,factories and by automobile's exhaust.
Due to green house effect the temperature of the surface of earth , on its immediate atmosphere rises and this phenomenon is called global warming.
Global warming leads to melting of glaciers , occurence of diseases , adverse effect on plant yields.
So we need to reduce the use of automobiles and we should stop deforestation and start afforestation.
