Define Green Revolution. How is Green Revolution different from traditional farming?​

Green revolution is a step taken by the government to improve the yields from agriculture. In traditional farming , normal seeds were used . But in green revolutions ( HYV ) seeds were used which gave high yields . In green revolution, fertilisers and pesticides were used which brought more yields !
