Guidance refers to the advice which helps an individual to resolve the problem and guidance also means to show sympathy and to help someone to overcome from their difficulties.

Counselling is one of the type of advice which is given by a particular counselor to the one who is suffering from difficulties or might be a type of depression.

Counselling is usually done in schools to prevent the students from any type of violence or any other problem.
