Hess's law of constant heat of summation states that regardless of multiple stages or steps of reaction the total enthalpy change for the reaction is the sum of all charges
hope this will help you

hey mate!

HESS law States that..

the heat change in a complete chemical reaction always remains same whether reaction complete in one oe more steps.

Example:-

C +O2 _∆H__CO2

where,

C___∆H1__CO

CO____∆H2__CO2

..according to Hesse's law

∆H =∆H1 + ∆H2

hope it will help you..
