Homegenous mixture is a mixturewhich has its components uniformly mixed throughout (the properties like concentration are same in in each and every layer or point )
Heterogeneous mixture is a mixture which has its components mixed in an un-uniformly manner .e.e they are mixed any how( properties like concentration  are different in different layers or points)
the example for homogeneous mixture is sugar dissolved in water and heterogeneous mixture is sand suspended in water
Hope this helped u :-)

A mixture is formed by combining two or more materials. A homogeneous mixture appears uniform, regardless of where you sample it. ... Examples of homogeneous mixtures include air, saline solution, most alloys, and bitumen. Examples of heterogeneous mixtures include sand, oil and water
