the row on a typewriter or computer keyboard that contains thekeys (home keys) to which four fingers of each hand return as a base, on a QWERTY keyboard being A, S, D, and F for the left hand and J, K, L, and the semicolon for the right.

The Home Row is the middle row of the standard alphabets keyboard. It has keys A, S, D, F, G, H, J, K, L. Our fingers rest over ASDF and JKL: while not typing. Keys F and J have a small bump to help us locate the keys !

Hope that helps you !
