HOMOPHONES are a type of homonyms that also sound alike and have different meanings, but have different spellings.
 EX: heart-hurt.
       fair-fare
HOMOGRAPHS  are words that are spelled the same but have different meaning.
EX:  fair- country fair
        fair- resonable
        lie -un truth
        lie- lie down
