HUMAN ACTIVITIES :-

human activity - something that people do or cause to happen. human action, act, deed. event - something that happens at a given place and time.

TYPES OF HUMAN ACTIVITIES :-

1) Primary activities, these are human activities that involves extracting of raw materials directly from the the earth. Example of primary activities are farming, fishing, lumbering and livestock keeping.

2 ) Secondary activities, these are human activities that involves processing of raw materials into useful products. Examples of secondary human activities are processing of steel and iron from iron ores and coffee pulping.

3) Tertiary activities, these are human activities that involves provision of services that are needed in the society. Example of tertiary activities are trade, tourism, education and transportation.

4) Quaternary activities, these are human activities that involves the provision of intellectual services and information. Example of Quaternary activities are consultancy activities, research and library activities.

5) Quinary activities, these are activities that are done by top executive or officials in such a field as government. They involves the highest level of decision making in society or economy.
