Hii friend,
The hypothalamus controls the temperature of the body. When our environment is hot, we sweat. As the sweat evaporates, our body cools down. Similarly, if the body is too cold, the hypothalamus instructs the body to shiver and thus, warms it up.
hope this helps u ☺

Hi diyana,
Hypothalamus is a part which is found in brain.
It is the special and somewhat modified in function than thalamus so it is named as "hypothalamus".
It secretes many hormones which is responsible for chemical changes in our body.
The hormones from the hypothalamus govern physiologic functions such as temperature regulation, thirst, hunger, sleep, mood, sex drive, and the release of other hormones within the body.
This area of the brain contains the main "pituitary gland "and other glands in the body.
Hope I helped you a little!!!
