1). A substance that has a fixed chemical composition throughout is called a pure substance such as water, air, and nitrogen. A pure substance does not have to be of a single element or compound

2). A solution which can not dissolve further amount of solute at a particular temperature is called saturated solution. For example, when you keep adding sugar to the water, a time will reach when no more sugar will dissolve in the water and sugar will settle down at the bottom
